Materials:             Levels 1, 2, 3.  Crayons, markers, water paint, tempera paint.

Direction:             Review today's principle. Introduce today's activity by telling students they get to decide what they want to draw (set a goal).  And they can decide how to draw it and what materials to use (make a plan).

Activity:                 Help the students think about and choose a goal and a plan.  Point out their ability to choose goals and plans.  Help the students to evaluate their own process and products.

Assist children in deciding what they want to draw and how they will accomplish it.

                      What did we just do?
Level 2.         How did you do that?
Level 3.         What will you do different next time?
                      What will you do the same next time?
