Books for Dialogic Reading: Where’s Spot?

Where's Spot?

This is a board book with flaps. Spot's mother is looking for Spot. Children open the flaps to see where Spot the dog is hiding. The child can open the door, to see if Spot is behind the door or lift the rug to see if Spot is under the rug. Opening the flap, and seeing what's beneath, is very engaging. It's sort of like peek-a-boo AND hide and seek! There are many Spot the dog flap books and many are available in Spanish.
